MRA (MR Angiography)

MRI Scans

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans allow us to receive detailed images of your body’s soft tissues. This could include the spine, brain, joints and other internal organs, which we evaluate to determine if injury or disease is present.

MRA Scans

Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) scans focus on providing images of your blood vessels to find clots, narrowing, calcium deposits or aneurysms.

CT scans are also referred to as computed tomography or CAT scans. By taking a series of X-ray images from various angles, it allows us to construct a 3-D representation of bodily structures, like bones or soft tissue.

Ultrasound or sonography imaging exposes your body to high-frequency sound waves to capture images of the movement of bodily structures in real time.

Fluoroscopy

Using an X-ray source and a fluorescent screen, we’re able to capture real-time moving images of your internal bodily structures. Fluoroscopy can also be used to assist in surgical procedures.

Mammograms use low-dose X-rays to help find breast cancer that may be undetectable by the patient or physicians. Mammography is part of regular preventative screening in women.

Myelogram

Using contrast material injected around the spinal cord, a myelogram procedure uses fluoroscopy and other techniques to take detailed images that can detect any abnormalities that may be present in or around the spine.
arthrogram

Arthrograms

Contrast dye is injected into a joint after which a series of images, generally X-ray, are taken to determine an accurate diagnosis. Arthograms are usually conducted to determine the cause of unexplained joint pain.

Pain Injections and Pain Management

Injections can be used to both manage pain and attempt a diagnosis for unexplainable pain symptoms when used in conjunction with an MRI or CT exam.

Cardiac Scoring

By taking CAT scan images of your coronary arteries, cardiac scoring is used to detect calcium and plaque buildup.
Bone Density

Bone Density Scans (DEXA)

A bone density test helps detect the presence of osteoporosis or other conditions by measuring the amount of bone material present in a small section of bone.
